THE UNL EOLSS INTERFACE
The
UNL EOLSS INTERFACE is a web platform for exploring, discovering
and searching information in the Encyclopedia of Life Support Systems (EOLSS),
by UNESCO. It benefits from the knowledge infrastructure provided by the
Universal Networking Language (UNL)
in order to extend the power and possibilities of EOLSS. The Interface
comprises three different modes: Explore, for those who already
know the Encyclopedia internal structure and look for fast and direct
access to the EOLSS entries; Discover, for those who are
interested in interdisciplinary associations and transdisciplinary
aspects of the knowledge conveyed by the EOLSS entries; and Search,
for those who look for internal and unstructured content of EOLSS.
Additionally, the UNL EOLSS INTERFACE provides the multilingual
environment where Encyclopedia entries, originally written in English,
can be translated, through UNL, into as many languages as possible. |
